Blackpool Trip 2019

A mini bus was hired and people from Catholic Care’s four homes for adults with a learning disability from the Bradford area enjoyed a day trip out to Blackpool at the end of October to see the lights. Even the rainy weather didn’t spoil anybody’s fun full packed day. First stop was of course “Fish & Chips” before a little walk around the front of the Pleasure Beach. Then the party split into groups dependent on who wanted to go shopping, who wanted fun on the rides and arcades and who wanted to sit, people watch and eat chocolate eclairs. What a choice! Plenty was bought from gift shops while others braved the cold windy Blackpool seafront weather enjoyed going on some rides and getting involved and WINNING in a few games of football penalty shoot outs. Then it was back to the mini bus for a trip through the illuminations after which there were a few sleepy heads on the way home. Next year is already in the planning.
