Food poverty is a disease of our modern society. At Catholic Care we see this all too often especially though the services we provide to children and families. Over the past 2 years we have responded through our holiday hunger project, supporting children, who in term time are in receipt of free school meals, and families with hampers of food during the school summer holidays. This year we have also piloted a Community Market which we hope to roll out further in the future.
