Catholic Care has recently undergone its Investors in People assessment. We are very pleased that the assessor has just confirmed that we have met the challenging requirements of the Generation 6 Standard and has confirmed that we have retained our Investors in People accreditation.
In the report the assessor commented: “I have thoroughly enjoyed assessing Catholic Care. The constructive, positive way in which people have engaged in the process is a credit to the organisation.”
Our values at Catholic Care are derived from Catholic Social Teaching and we believe the best way to live these values is through our daily working lives. This was evident throughout the report.
New starters fit in with ease, articulating how quickly “you realise there is a different feeling”.
Some feedback continued in the report really epitomises the organisation and the excellent staff who are fully committed to caring for and supporting those they provide a service to:
Time and again people reiterate: “I look forward to coming to work”.
Finally, the assessor was once again very complimentary about the dedication of staff:
The length of service of many members of staff is testament to their job satisfaction and enjoyment in the role, some volunteered the ultimate trust of being “happy for one of their family to be supported by Catholic Care”.
We really do value our staff at Catholic Care for without them we could not deliver our mission and provide care and support to those who are disadvantaged, vulnerable and marginalised living in our communities today.
