Staff, Residents, Trustees and friends came together on the evening of the 27th November to ‘Step into Christmas’ with Catholic Care at the Leeds Irish Centre.
Guests were welcomed into the beautifully decorated Tara Suite adorned in red and gold, those attending felt an instant Christmas glow as they walked through the doors.
Carol Hill Director of Catholic Care welcomed all the guests attending; Father Eamon McGillycuddy kindly said grace.
Guests enjoyed a four course meal provided by Chef Alan and his team, and a game of ‘heads and tails’ before desert! Entertainment was provided by Joe on his guitar and ukulele. The annual Christmas raffle was a huge success with over 40 prizes on display including a £100 voucher for Giovani’s restaurant in Harrogate, a deluxe hamper and a number of bottles of champagne.
DJ Simon provided music for the rest of evening and the guests danced the night away enjoying all the Christmas favourites.
The evening raised £550.90 for the Charity, a big thanks to all those who donated prizes for the raffle and of course all of those who joined us for this annual celebration.
