Friday August 4th saw some of the newly formed St Stephens and Friends group take to the road for their first summer trip. A leisurely tour of the museum at Cliffe Castle was thoroughly enjoyed before everyone went for a sumptuous carvery lunch together at The Toby.
One of the Keighley members excitedly reported, “Whilst we were looking round the industrial exhibits I found out that me and the chap from Skipton both used to ride Bantam motorcycles!”
It’s great when older people can make new friends in new places!
The group also met for breakfast at The Devonshire in Skipton on Friday August 11th & 18th to discuss plans for their next trip out at the beginning of September.
