What Makes Good Community

On 13th March Carol Hill (Director of Catholic Care) attended the parish of SS John Fisher and Thomas Moor in Burley-in-Wharfedale to present to Burley & Menston Churches Together as part of their programme of Lent Conversation focusing on what makes good community.

Carol spoke about the history of the charity from its humble beginnings over 150 years ago and how its services have evolved to meet the needs of a changing society throughout this time. Carol concluded by saying that Catholic Care continues to evolve its services to meet the needs of those who are disadvantaged, vulnerable and marginalised and it is this care and support delivered to people of all faiths and non which contributes to making a good community.
