The Schools, Children and Family Wellbeing Service provides therapeutic social work services to schools across West and parts of North Yorkshire working alongside staff in school and outside agencies.
Would you like to use your social work skills to provide a high quality therapeutic social work service in schools? As a result of the issues arising from the pandemic demand is increasing from schools and we are now looking for dedicated individuals who wish to be part of a dynamic preventative service helping children and young people to overcome their barriers and to achieve their full potential.
Job Title: School Social Worker
Salary: Spinal Point 18 -25 currently £25,419 – £30,095 pro rata dependent on qualifications and experience
Post: Full time vacancy available with term time only and 11-month contracts also available
Location: West Yorkshire

Skills and Qualifications
You must hold a Social Work Qualification
You should have counselling and group-work skills, and be able to work in a multi-disciplinary way as part of the school’s pastoral care team.
You should be able to communicate effectively – in both written and verbal forms
