Support Worker or Residential Care Worker – Care Bank

Could you be part of a dedicated team caring for adults with learning disabilities in a supported living setting? Are you looking to get back in to full time employment or maybe would like the opportunity to work on a flexible basis?

Catholic Care operates a Care Bank which employs people to work as and when required to cover for sickness and annual leave. Employees would be supported in this by the teams of committed support workers in various homes and projects throughout the Diocese.  Training will be given.

In our homes we provide care and support for people from different cultural and religious backgrounds, to enable integration to the local community

Salary:
£10.65 per hour inclusive

Job Profile

You would be required to work, in a person centred way, as part of the team to help and support tenants to enhance their skills and ability and to assist them in making choices and decisions.

You will be required to have effective computer and IT skills.
