From the 15th to the 22nd of June, Paul, George, Robert, (residents at one of Catholic Care’s residential homes for adults who have a learning disability), Chiara (one of the Time for God Volunteers who come each year to live and work in the home) and Steve (Deputy Manager), had a holiday to remember in Northumberland staying at a very small hamlet called Wandylaw. They holidayed in a stunning 5 bedroom house with views you wouldn’t believe. They packed so may activities into their days, including lunch sat on top of Hadrian’s wall, a visit to Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Alnmouth beach, Bamburgh Castle, Warkworth Castle, Berwick upon Tweed and visited a country park to name just some of the things they did. The first night was a real favourite with a night walk along the shore at Seahouses. The guys had a fantastic time away with many funny memories. George is already looking forward to planning next year’s break away!!
