Our Commitment
Become a Volunteer
Volunteering for a charity like Catholic Care is a great thing to do.
There are so many advantages – not just for us and the people we support, but for you, too!
At the heart of the model is a commitment to care, compassion, dignity and equality – values that shape every decision, every environment and every interaction. It represents a calm, nurturing and forward-looking ethos where children are supported through steady, meaningful steps toward safety, healing and positive futures. Our homes are designed to feel safe, stable and homely, with high-quality therapeutic care delivered by reflective, well trained adults who place the child’s needs, voice and identity at the centre of practice.

Children’s Residential Services are inspected by Ofsted. The latest inspection report rated Catholic Care’s provision ‘Good’ in all areas.
Steps for Tomorrow
Become a Volunteer
Volunteering for a charity like Catholic Care is a great thing to do.
There are so many advantages – not just for us and the people we support, but for you, too!
The Steps for Tomorrow model ensures consistency across all homes: therapeutic relationships, trauma-informed responses, strong family and professional partnerships, and high expectations for each child’s development, wellbeing and achievement.
It is not just a way of working – it is our identity, built on safety, nurture and meaningful progress, guiding every home to deliver exceptional, child-centred care.
Our Keighley Home
One of our properties, based in Keighley, provides a home for two children. It is a particularly nurturing, fun, structured and comfortable home that allows children the confidence and care to grow and thrive, feeling encouraged, loved and prepared for the next steps. As we expand our Steps For Tomorrow model, we will ensure they’re built on the same founding principles as our Keighley home.’
