Catholic Care has published its impact report, titled A Celebration of Our Year 2023. Impact reports tell the public what charities do, looking back over events and statistics from the previous year.
[/vc_custom_heading][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”199234″]The 2023 edition of the Celebration of Our Year is being distributed to parishes, religious communities, and schools across the Diocese of Leeds. It’s also available electronically, and will be emailed to Friends of Catholic Care.
Catholic Care’s Communications Manager, Johan Bergström-Allen, said: “I really hope people will enjoy reading about some of our highlights from last year. Putting it together, I was deeply impressed and really moved by the stories and statistics; the sheer number of people whose lives have been improved by what Catholic Care does is astonishing. Every paragraph and every photo represents just a snapshot of the huge impact we make as a Catholic Care family.”
“For the first time this year, we’re including the financial summary from the Trustees’ Report in the Celebration of Our Year. We think it’s important that our supporters know how we use resources, and having worked for various charities over two decades I’m very impressed that 99% of Catholic Care’s income goes directly on our charitable activities and maximising our impact.”
“It’s right that charities should be accountable to the public, and at a time when public and private resources are so scarce, it’s important that we demonstrate how Catholic Care makes an effective difference.”
